This was our first vet visit for our new puppy. We were very happy with the staff of the office. They were nice and helpful. Dr Pat was terrific. We are new patients of the dog and he took the time to explain everything to us and answered all of our questions and concerns. We were not sure about the 45 minute drive there but it is worth it. There are times in life when you meet people who truly care about what they do! Dr. Pat and his staff ARE those people. He puts the animal AHEAD of the price tag! He understands that a dog is part of the family and he does what is best for the life of the dog and the family.
My dog is 12 years old. we moved to LI from Queens just 2 years ago so I don’t have a long time relationship with the Animal Center LI facility. That didn’t stop Dr. Pat and Regan from treating my dog and myself like family all while doing everything in their power to diagnose and treat my senior lab. Their compassion is evident and their love for their patients is clear to see.
It was NEVER about money! they treated me SO fairly. They just care and it shows.
If I could give them infinite stars, instead of 5, I would!

Staff was unfriendly and ver I’ve been using for 13 years introduced themselves to me. Felt like my pet was just a number and they didn’t care. When i told the vet about the experience and rudeness of the office staff, she didn’t care, apologize or anything. My dog deserves better than that!

Great staff that truly cares for your pets. Vet Patrick Lanzarone is honest, respectful of your thoughts and concerns for your pet and is not pushy like other vets regarding vaccines or medications. Would highly recommend this office if you’re in need of a new Vet!

Dr Baffa is one of the most caring and sincere veterinarian's I have ever met. I have an Australian Shepherd Toy who got into a bad scuffle with a yellow lab. We left Emergency not knowing if she was going to survive.. puncture wounds that literally revealed arteries.. We felt like terrible people and owners for even allowing something like this to happen. But Dr Baffa reassured us… it happens, and she was going to do everything in her power to get our pup back… and she did. It was a long road but I get to officially cease all further check ups! Dr Baffa literally saved our puppers life. 5 stars doesn’t even begin to say it.

I recently visited this animal center over the summer and was blown away by the level of care they provided. From the moment I walked in, I could tell it was a special place. A little old, but I guess they could do the job.

Dr. Ryan, in particular, stood out to me. He took the time to really listen to my concerns about my pet and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. His genuine love for animals was evident, and it was clear that he wanted what was best for my furry friend.

After my initial positive experience here, I recently returned for a follow-up appointment with Dr. Ryan, but unfortunately he was no longer there and I followed up with Dr. Pat

However, the real disappointment came during the appointment with Dr. Pat. Unlike Dr. Ryan's compassionate and thorough approach, Dr. Pat seemed disinterested and inattentive. He barely acknowledged my concerns and rushed through the examination without providing much explanation. It was evident that he lacked the same level of dedication and care that I had previously experienced with Dr. Ryan. Dr. Pat had only seen interested in running up the bill and showing me more products that I don't need... especially a product that comes with a warning label that my dog can choke from it. Place is great but it seems like the whole place is a walking bill when Dr. Pat is in.
