Ocean Blue Galleries - St. Petersburg, Florida

We visited the St. Pete location of Ocean Blue last week, and were helped by Cezanne. We had visited the Key West location in ‘22, and were so impressed that Ocean Blue was on the must do list for our St. Pete trip. Cezanne was extremely knowledgeable, and has a passion for the art that made a stop at an art gallery into a memorable experience.
We were there primarily to see the Harlan’s, but were captivated by the Clarita Brinkerhoff pieces as well. We were a bit disappointed there were no Jim Carrey pieces on display, but wasn’t a big deal.
When we’re in the market to buy this Fall we will certainly be back!

Fantastic visit at the gallery. One of their artists, Alexei Butirskiy was working on a steam engine piece on the evening that we came in. Most of all, my husband and I loved our conversations with Savannah who was extremely knowledgeable on every single painting, art style, and technical process in the gallery. It was really interesting to see one of the pieces that we liked in different lighting. Even though we were just browsing, we had such an educational and enjoyable visit here. It was also nice to be exposed to an artist, DeVon who makes interesting sound responsive pop art. Highly recommend working with their team, especially Savannah if you are a collector.

Some really great pieces of art. A woman by the name of Brandy helped us with our transaction. She was very kind and interesting. We appreciated the information and ended up walking out with a very nice piece of art.

We just had the most enjoyable experience at Ocean Blue Galleries! We were immediately greeting by Lauren who walked us around the entire gallery. Lauren was exceptionally knowledgeable and enthusiastic about each artist and was able to share fun bits of information about each! Gorgeous and whimsical art surrounds you as you walk through the gallery. Do yourself a favor and talk a stroll through!!

One of the best galleries in DTSP! Savannah is amazing to work with, she assisted me with procuring two pieces from my favorite artist and having them arrive in time for custom dedication at the artist's gallery show. Amazing selection of high quality, limited run prints and originals. I love Ocean Blue!

The staff here were excellent, attentive and definitely knowledgeable. They were awesome on the evening of July 11th.

My wife and I came back the following night to purchase a Warhol/Capote themed piece from the artist during his showing. He wasn’t available and apparently went out to dinner. We stoped by a few times later and still unavailable.

It’s a shame, we really wanted to meet and speak about the piece during our stay in St. Petersburg.

During a weekend getaway to St. Pete, my wife and I had the pleasure of stumbling upon Ocean Blue. We were pulled in by the feeling we were walking by an art candy store. Being avid art fans but by no means professionals we were amazed by the variety and beauty of the art exhibited at OBG. While browsing and marveling at all the wonderful pieces we had the pleasure of meeting Carrie! A very knowledgeable and pleasant associate of OBG. We found exactly what we were looking for and Carrie was amazing she helped us understand the uniqueness and story behind our chosen piece. She was not pushy and we left feeling not only had we purchased a wonderful piece of art, but that we had made a friend. Thank you Carrie! Snoopy is home:)

Don’t walk in unless you are wearing a 3 piece suit. Walked in and seriously considering buying a beautiful piece until the lady on the floor was super condescending
