Complete rip off so u got charged to 14.60 for sweet and sour chicken balls and fried rice
What I received was chips and rice pot of sweet and sour. Not sure how you can mistake chips for chicken balls

So if you want to play roulette on a order use this place.
My advice would be avoid and take notice to the already 3 stars far better op

I wouldn’t wasted your money, our food arrived cold and extremely tasteless and our order was wrong. I had ordered green pepper and black bean sauce which is pictured belies, there is no black bean or green pepper anywhere near the dish, it’s just sweet and sour prawns, but when we called to say the order was wrong we were told it wasn’t and they hung up.

AVOID!!!! Very disappointed in the quality of food that was delivered. Prawn crackers were tasteless and stale (definitely been sat for a while in the bag), sweet and sour chicken had a distinct off taste (spat it out, rotten!), chips were overcooked (resembled cardboard), prawn toast was overcooked on the outside and funnily enough when I parted the over cooked bread there was nothing in the middle of the bread just soggy prawn scented bread (no prawn in sight), vegetable spring rolls were lacking in any filling, strangely food hub reviews advise lots of 5 star ratings (by a lot of familiar names) but upon looking at google reviews that's not the case, £42 spent for absolute garbage, what a con! Not another penny will ever be spent at liking chinese ever again, should rebrand themselves to "disliking". Gave 5 star for service as it arrived on time, something they got right.

This is the Steak Rice Box . Advertised with carrots , onion and cucumber and soy sauce . It was in fact just tough steak and a box of dry rice for £9 . Had chilli salt chips . Again was no sign of chilli , and over salted chips . No onions , peppers etc . Ribs that I tried were ok .

I have ordered from Liking Chinese three times now. The food has always arrived hot and of a good quality. The last time I ordered the food came 30 minutes early. I think compared with other Chinese places it is of a reasonable price between 20-30 quid for two people. I would ignore some of the other reviews on here because they are either off topic where they don't even talk about the food or are from years ago. As it stands now in the present day, Liking Chinese is sound as a pound.

A good takeaway only couple of problems ordered special curry 4 pieces of meat 1 king prawn and the rest was veg, shredded beef in special sauce,what was so special in the sauce?. Sweet and Sour sauce was to runny needed thickening, Chips outstanding overall not bad won't be going again.

Don't waste your money here. Food arrived & completely the wrong order. Bland, tasteless & by far the worst chinese take away I've ever had. Shockingly bad. We ordered one prawns in garlic & chilli sauce. And one chicken & prawns in sechzuan sauce. Both dishes were exactly the same. No chicken at all, and the same bland glue like substance supposed to be a sauce in both. There was no garlic nor chilli to taste at all. The prawn crackers were the only flavoursome thing. Threw most of it away, along with the £24 we spent. Bloke just said "sorry" when we phoned up.

Had a meal delivered on sat 3rd feb 2024,was insipid,tasteless muck….95% of it went straight in the bin when i rang to complain was told “sorry mate” and that was it….avoid this place,would hBe been better off with a cheese butty lol
