Bon café pittoresque pour un déjeuner rapide. Était complet pour le brunch du samedi. Le seul siège disponible était vraiment près de l'entrée mais ça va pour 2 personnes. Bol de riz maison - poulet juteux et peau totalement comestible, il est fin et croustillant, pas du type gras. Le riz a une belle bouchée. Servi avec des œufs durs froids, ce qui m'a semblé étrange au début, mais qui m'a plu à la fin. La côtelette de poulet ressemble au même poulet que celui utilisé pour le bol de riz maison. Quenelles que je trouve un peu farineuses. Le latte est bon. Le service était bon, ils continuent à venir pour faire le plein d'eau. J'aime bien qu'ils aient utilisé un long banc comme siège pour que nous, les dames, puissions mettre nos sacs à main / sacs à provisions.

Very cramped restaurant due to the small size.
Food is interesting. I love how creative the menu is with wonderful combination of flavours. We truly enjoyed everything that we ordered.

The food here is quite interesting with a touch of fusion. I tried the set lunch, which included spam pork with rice. The rice had a unique pesto-like blend, giving it a refreshing twist. Service was attentive, making the dining experience enjoyable.

Went on 28th December 2024, wasn’t aware that they have changed the entire menu (but luckily they kept my fav dish - chili oil dumplings) and was so disappointed! I’m afraid they have became “just another cafe that serves same generic menu that everyone else is doing” I speak for myself when I say changing their menu was the wrong move, but we went during lunch hour on a Saturday and it was only me and my bf, can’t help but think their customers share the same opinion as us.

Food Review: We ordered the (1) Chicken Burger - it was just ok, nothing that surprised us and our palates, (2) Char Siew Rice Bowl - taste was also ok but portion was rather small, and (3) our fav chili oil dumplings - 5 star as usual!!

Li was a fav dinner date spot for me and my bf, their atmosphere, top tier food, unique flavors and seasonal menu was what we love the most. It really was a very unique place that serves local cuisine with a twist that u can’t find anywhere else, we really enjoyed every single dish that we have tried there…. Li, pls bring back the old menu and dishes!

Food here was interesting.

Standouts to me were the kerabu seafood which was very fragrant and well balanced, the fish of the day, and the chicken. Enjoyed the kaya soy butter toast too. But it looks like the menu changes frequently. Wish the menu was a little bit wider. Not much selection here.

Wish the waiter would have been more accommodating. Asked for a glass of warm water but he refused to do so, giving excuses like the hot water will crack the glass.

2nd visit: Went back a 2nd time... Probably won't go again. They changed their rice. It's now hard and uncooked. And they want to change their grilled chicken to fried chicken. Although this visit they allowed grill chicken customisation.

1st visit:
Nice. Would recommend the lunch sets. Chicken is great. Would recommend the house bowl. Seafood pasta (no pic) and bowl also very unique.

Pork toast was ok.. the curry sauce isn't very spicy which we liked.

Loved that the food had a homey taste and it’s not overly salty. My favourites were the

- Smoked Fish Kerabu - Very Unique! And the smoked fish really brings this dish together
- Ginger Pesto Scallion Pasta - Tastes similar to the chicken rice ginger sauce
- Radish Cake (Mother’s day special) - their twist on the traditional radish cake. It still maintains the traditional taste of the radish cake with some modern flavours.

Really like their homemade pasta, texture was perfect. Dumplings however were just okay.
