Like many of the other reviewers, we walked into Gallery21 as we strolled through downtown Carmel. New to Eyvind Earle...we were captivated by the art on display that is visible from the sidewalk. What can you say? The work is stunning. I knew I would be leaving town with at least one piece! Both Mike and loan were so helpful in explaining the background of Eyvind...and the process of his art. That gallery is magical - I feel so badly for all the folks who walk by and are too intimidated by really magnificent art stores to stop in and just say hello. They should stop and look and learn - whether they purchase or not. I learned long ago that the cost of art really is insignificant to a buyer - I knew looking at the art in that gallery that I needed to be viewing that art in my home. That was the end of that decision. : ) And now I am researching additional Eyvind works...and have reached back out to loan. I need more wall space...as I see Eyvind's vision nearly everywhere I drive these days. Salinas...on a drive in North Carolina, recently...in the snow belt, in Ohio. What creativity he had...

My wife and I were gallery browsing in Carmel, CA past weekend. I don't know how many we've been to but one that stood out for me was Gallery 21. Pretty much all Eyvind Earle originals and serigraphs. I didn't know much about Eyvind Earle but once I found out, his life story is one that you should definitely get to know.

Wonderful artwork. I am definitely research more and purchase one of his serigraphs.

Gallery 21 is an outstanding place, with good environment, people and food. Waiters and service are great and specially Hassan, passionate about the customer to make him / her feel at home. Thanks to all staff for creating such great atmostohere.

The most beautiful gallery... it's all Eyvind Earle's work. Ioan worked with Eyvind, and has done a great job curating his collection. Eyvind was prolific, so you will undoubtedly be able to find something that fits most people's style and budget. We are so incredibly thrilled with this place.... I've love his work all my life.
