Lors de mon escapade à Miami Beach ce week end, j'ai visité Eden Galery situé sur l'artère de Colin's Avenue.

Je me suis extasiée devant les œuvres hors normes d'artistes mondialement connus et devant la beauté des tableaux et sculptures exposées.

Nous avons été reçu avec élégance et charme par le directeur qui nous a fait le récit de l'histoire de la Galerie. Je suis impatiente de revenir sur Miami Beach pour découvrir le nouveau lieu d'implantation et de monstration dans quelques mois.

Aux esthètes et amateurs d'art, je recommande cette visite lors de vos passages à Miami Beach, vous serez conquis.

This place is a joke. My husband and I had brunch at Jaya today and there is an entrance to the gallery from the hotel. We were looking at the pieces and the security literally ushered us out of gallery as if our mere presence was offensive to him. It's art. If I'm unable to visually admire it's beauty, then what is the point. It was clear our ethnicity had an influence on his behavior. It's unfortunate. His racist behavior will prevent me from ever stepping foot in the Setai again.

Went in the experience the beautiful art for art basel and the experience was ruined by one of the workers. Dressed in a white top and skirt (for reference) She refused to answer questions about the art work as if we were less than. She quickly escorted us out and robbed us of the ambience of the work. Please give your employees on customer service and treating everyone as equals. In no way would that have happened if we were of a different background.

I have never been treated so poorly by any staff at any art gallery! My husband and I went to Miami recently. Knowing that we were interested in purchasing a piece of art on our trip, we tried to stop by Eden. Although it was still open, the woman at the front desk would not open the door. We stood outside for several minutes and she refused to even look up from the desk to acknowledge us at the door. We then walked around the building assuming there was another entrance. When we failed to locate another entrance, we went back to the front door and tried to be let in. Again, the woman at the front refused to even look at us.

We were not dressed like high rollers, so I assume the employee judged us based on appearance alone. Although I typically collect art from Pacific Northwest artists, like Mark Tobey and Morris Graves, my husband and I were looking to revamp our home with work from Alec Monopoly.

This type of behavior from gallery employees is what is wrong with the art world. The way I was treated was highly offensive.

I was lured in by what I saw from the window. A gallery full of various Art mediums, installations and paintings. Just around the corner from the oceanfront. This is a must see!
