Dr. Xu is a very caring doctor. I go for my annual visit to her and don’t wait too long to see her compared to other doctors. She doesn’t rush me and makes sure that all my concerns and questions are addressed. I also had a surgery that Dr. Xu successfully performed. If you want a doctor that will be honest and tell you what’s BEST and not what you want to hear then Dr. Li Xu is the OBGYN I recommend.

I’ve been struggling with fibroids for years and from day one Dr. Li Xu took my concerns seriously and had an action plan that had results within 30 days. I had seen many doctors and she is the only one who not only heard me but got to the root cause while being very detailed regarding the next action needed.

Dr. Xu is what future doctors and OBGYN’s should model. She is professional, listens to her patient, looks for the root cause (others doctors only treated from the surface) and will guide you with the needed medical advice/treatment with dedication to the best health and recovery!

She is a horrible doctor for Plus-size women. She has many biases that show up in her care, or rather lack of care. She diagnosed me with High Blood Pressure and I didn't have it that day when it was diagnosed. She did it in order to justify transferring me to a high-risk clinic because she was uncomfortable working with a person my size. I want to add that her communication around this was horrible as well. She waited until I was 32 weeks to do this. I hadn’t been seen for about 8 weeks due to cancelled appointments and never did the clinic think to prioritize scheduling me in order to make this change. DO NOT TRUST HER! I wouldn’t trust the clinic either.

I want to add info now that I am postpartum. I never had a high blood pressure reading. Because of what she put in my records, the hospital was required to check my blood pressure excessively in the hospital and it was never high then either. Now I have a false diagnosis in my chart that will follow me.
