A really brilliant showroom with splendid Glassware Crystal, Pottery & Furniture items, a feast for the eyes. The new exhibition is full of Futuristic/Game of Thrones selections of Furniture that are startling. Please take the time to visit this gallery at the bottom of Duke Street just off Piccadilly, Green Park closest Underground Station.

Poor knowledge by the sales team when asked about the products. There are better galleries with much better services like Charles Burnard Gallery.

The special exhibitions at the David Gill Gallery are superbly and painstakingly put together. The large corner site is great for showing the spectacular limited edition furniture for which they are famed. A visionary place!

I've been to so many galleries in london and this has to be the most unwelcoming one, they were looking down at us when they knew we were just students. We asked about the prices and they said we cant tell you, but when a lady walked in with her husband, they were instantly given the prices and were allowed to even sit on the chairs.

I was then just trying to feel the timber of the furniture and the staff were like please dont touch. We were then asked to leave just cause " its the first day of the exhibition and they're expecting buyers ". We were just two architecture students trying to enjoy a gallery in london. Would never go there again.

I visited the gallery on June 12th around 11am. A guy came to open the gate. When I asked for the descriptions of the works, the guy neither knew about the works (except who design the works), nor made me comfortable to look around. He asked me if I am a student. I said yes. And then he said, he had a meeting soon so did not have much time to show me around. He just said the names of the designers as he pointed out the works and moved to another work. (basically he kicked me out of the gallery)

So I sent the email about my uncomfortable experience. Here is the reply from the gallery.

"I am sorry you did not appreciate viewing the works at the gallery. I had a confidential meeting and it was not a good time; however I still took time to show you the space and the works. But I do not enter into deep discussions about how we make our pieces to people that we are not familiar with, as many people have copied or try to copy our works. (what? they assumed that I copy the works?!?!)

Sending a complaint email like this about myself, who directs the gallery, is really not the best way for you as a student.

The correct thing to do would be to send the gallery an email saying you would like to come and view the works and if you could have a guided tour at an agreed time. (sorry I did not know I have to book for the gallery.)

In fact we give tours of the space for museums, patrons, and very much support the arts.

Speaking badly about me without knowing who I am or what I was doing that day is really not a good policy.

My grandfather always taught me,’ say the good word or else remain silent.’

I do not appreciate this type of email. Please refrain from emailing the gallery complaints.
