I have used Palo Alto Medical Foundation for more than 30 years. When my primary care physician relocated out of state a few years ago, I was assigned to Dr Angie Li. Not ever having had a lady physician before, I set up a “get to know you” appointment, in which she candidly admitted that as an old man (my words, not hers) I would be in the minority of her patient profiles. My health has always been good and in the conversation, she instilled in me the confidence that as I continue to age and things might begin to change, that she will provide me with the same professional care, do the same external research as may be needed, involve other PAMF specialists as my be required to ensure that I receive the best care and most positive outcomes possible.
Beyond obligatory blood pressure and listening to my heart and breathing, my annual check-ups involve primarily casual discussions of my wellbeing, both physical and mental, a review of habits, exercise, consumption, etc. Although I’ve not tested her skills with anything more serious than 2 bouts of COVID, I am confident that if/when the time comes that she will provide me with the most outstanding care available.

Dr Li is awesome, she's very responsive to messages and easy to make appointments with. I love that she allows you to take an active role in your care. She provides advice but takes your opinions into consideration before working with you to develop a care plan.

First meeting with my new primary physician via a video call. Dr Li was very professional and thorough. She was very patient and saw both my wife and myself back to back on the same call. I didn’t feel rushed. I asked every question and she always had a well thought out answer.
