I had an excellent experience staying at L'Arbre Sec House during my P1 and P2 at INSEAD. The house was perfect in almost every way—beautifully maintained with a stunning garden that provided a serene retreat. Pierre, the landlord, was incredibly flexible and always prompt in addressing any concerns, making the entire process seamless. Rent payments and deposit refunds were hassle-free, reflecting his professionalism. The included cleaning services by Marie, the housekeeper, were a fantastic touch, ensuring the house was always spotless. All appliances were either brand new or in excellent condition, which added to the comfort of the stay. The only downside is that the location is a tad bit off, as it is a 12-14 min walk from campus, and the nearest grocery store, and a little far from other shared houses. I highly recommend L'Arbre Sec House for anyone looking for a well-maintained, comfortable, and hassle-free living experience!

I lived in the house from January to early July 2020. The house is clean, well maintained, and warm in the winter months. The landlord was easy to work with and very on top off the tenants' needs. The backyard has a nice patio and is large enough to host during the day. This was the perfect environment to live in as an INSEAD student and I highly recommend it.

Great shared house for INSEAD students, landlord is helpful and extremely responsive, rooms are big and great garden for socialising with roommates. 15 mins walk from school and town centre, but bikes are provided which is great!

I had a great time at L'Arbre Sec House. The house is great - exactly as advertised and really close to INSEAD Campus (like 5min by bike, which are provided, very few houses closer than l'Arbre Sec) and close to the forest if you want to go for a run in the nature. The patio is great for hanging out with friends. The kitchen is super well equipped. And Pierre was super responsive - Pierre returned the deposit one week after I moved out . Highly recommended.

A wonderful little house! Just the right size, located in the most beautiful part of Fontainebleau (right next to the chateau) and so in the heart of the city, it is at the end of a quiet, residential street. For students: not too many neighbours makes this ideal! Only a 10 min walk to INSEAD campus and close to almost all the shops, grocery stores etc. The house itself is wonderfully equipped, room sizes are good and the garden is definitely the best in all of Fonty's shared houses! Great for hanging out or hosting parties. Most frequent cleaning among all houses and the landlord, Pierre, is definitely the most on top of things like repair etc. He is available most times and takes care of whatever you need really quickly! Loved my stay.

I stayed at ASH from August 2019 to June 2020 and had an amazing experience! I was in Room 3, one of the best rooms in the house for sure despite being an attic room, and over my time at INSEAD it became a home for me. The house itself is spacious and neat, with lots of common areas but enough privacy as well in each of the rooms. The backyard is one of the best Fontainebleau has to offer and was the site of many a picnic, dinner party and BBQ over the 10 months. The cleaning service is fantastic, and Pierre was an incredibly accommodating landlord who always helped out with any issues that arose throughout my stay.

It is a 12-15 minute walk from INSEAD on a quiet street, and about 15 minutes from the Franprix, and 20 minutes from Monoprix. Highly recommend staying here for any INSEAD students.
