Am 12.09.2020 besuchte ich Shakile &Me das erste Mal und wurde, entgegen meinen Erwartungen, von einem Feuerwerk der Begeisterung und Hingabe für Kunst und interkulturelles Verständnis überrascht.
Die Gastgeberin und Kuratorin nahm sich 2 Stunden Zeit für eine ausführliche Führung und eine sehr anregende anschließende Konversation.
Die beiden haben einen wirklich einzigartigen Spot geschaffen der für vieles mehr als einfach nur "eine Ausstellung für Kunst steht". Ich kann nur jedem nahe legen sich einmal von dieser bezaubernden Dame durch die Galerie führen zu lassen und sich auf eine Reise in die Kunstwelt führen zu lassen die eine Tür in ein anderes Universum sein kann.
An dieser Stelle bedanke ich mich auch nochmal von Herzen für diesen tollen Vormittag/Mittag.
Alles gute für das weitere Bestehen und Wachsen.

I've been to Sakhile&Me several times to view their different exhibitions and I always have a great experience there. Daniel and Sakhile are always welcoming and the gallery feels like you are entering into a cosy home.

You can see the amount of care and effort they put into representing each artists' work and they never fail to do them justice. Their passion for contemporary African art shines through on the exhibition tours and I enjoy how they break down the thought process that go into the choices that they make within each exhibition.

Their gallery is a breath of fresh air in an art/museum scene that can often feel overwhelming to the layman. The quaint size of their gallery means you can appreciate each piece at your own pace. Do not miss this gem in the heart of Frankfurt!

This gallery is in a very cool neighborhood and the two partners who run it are such dedicated and passionate professionals.

One of them gave me a personal guided tour of the exhibition that was running at the time and we had a great chat and conversation about the exhibition and on African Art as well.

Durch eine Interviewserie für Nest hatte ich die Möglichkeit Sakhile kennenzulernen. Neben Ihrer sehr spannenden und mitreißenden Geschichte habe ich Kunstgalerie erfahren und kann es kaum erwarten diese zu besuchen.

Nice little Art Gallery, as far as i know they showcase lots of African and adrican american artists. Hosts where very polite and always open to discussbthe Art.
