I am going to be an ER resident physician in a few months so I will say I can kind of tell who is a good physician who cares about their patients and Dr. Li is definitely one of them! Dr. Li is one of the few physicians who was willing to do intradermal injections for my keloid (raised) scars--not because they are difficult but it takes just a little more time. I will say the fact that he took the time to do the injections himself while other doctors think it takes up too much of their time speaks volumes. I would send my parents to him.

Took my mother to see Dr. Li a few days ago and still couldn't believe how nice and patient he was despite our tendency of always asking way too many questions that typically upsets most other doctors. He took the time and answered them ALL! He is kind and knowledgeable. We don't wish to be sick ever again, but if we do, we now know to whom we would turn for sure.

If you are just arriving in Houston and looking for a family doctor, or if you want to change to a better family doctor, you’ll do no better than Golden Care Medical Center and Dr. Huaiguang Li, MD, Ph.D.

I have lived in Houston for nearly 20 years. A few years ago, I switched to Dr. Li as my family doctor and can speak first hand to his deep experience and accuracy in prescribing medication. Once, I took his prescription to CVS and somehow even such a large pharmacy didn’t have it and needed to order it. Then, recently, he found that I was resistant to some antibiotics and managed to prescribe me the most effective antibiotic, leading to a successful result for something I’d been seeing my specialist for months. Not only is Dr. Li's medical skills brilliant, but the nurses in the clinic are also top-notch, from the easeness of drawing blood to the warmness of the front desk.

It may be because of all of the above that Dr. Li’s waiting room is always busy, full of people from all walks of life. In order to facilitate patient visits, the clinic is also open on Saturdays. When most hospitals and clinics are closed, Dr. Li opens his office to make it easier for his patients to get the care they need.
